My background is in Physics, and I'm fascinated with scientific simulation, from how we express models to how we visualize implications of those models. I'm working with Chris Myers and Dave Schneider in a group called Analytical Frameworks for Infectious Disease Dynamics. Our goal is to assemble tools and code to give epidemiologists a way to address new plant and animal pathogens at the scale of the whole United States.
