Hands-on session-

 

An integrated tutorials for RNA-seq data analysis using free, open-source software tools, including TopHat, IGV, Cufflinks, CummeRbund, and EdgeR, will be provided.

Hands-on practise for RNA-seq data analysis using software tools, including TopHat, IGV, Cufflinks, CummeRbund, and EdgeR, will be provided.

Participants should bring their own laptops, which will be used to connect to the remote servers to carry out calculations. An ssh client are required to connect to servers.

In this edition of the workshop, the hands-on exercises will be hosted on dedicated workstations of the CBSU/3CPG BioHPC Lab. If you intend to participate in the exercises, send e-mail to cbsu@cornell.edu confirming your intent (please do so even if you already have a Lab account). If you do not yet have an account on CBSU/3CPG Lab machines, we will create one for you. Also, we will assign a machine for you to work on during the workshop.
